Introduction: The goal of the current study was to create and assess herbal floating tablet that would treat stomach ulcers. Many medications are currently on market have either been directly or indirectly produced from plants, which long considered an experimental source medication. Different diseases treated with plant extracts. There so many chemically active components in plants can be used cure different diseases. Herbal increase bioavailability, extend period pharmaceuticals stay stomach, make it easier administer locally stomach. For treatment gastric ulcers, tablets alcoholic extract amla as primary ingredient were created this study. Method: made using direct compression method contains extracts amla, aqueous ginger fenugreek, psyllium husk, HPMC K100M, sodium bicarbonate, talc, magnesium stearate. Additional evaluation tests for include those hardness, thickness, diameter, weight uniformity, buoyancy duration. use time improved formulation. process contained gastro retentive drug delivery systems, a combination K100M prove promising.
